Wired burglar alarm systems are at times bulky in a sense that a package may contain long lengths of wires. This is so true when using home security camera systems. Wired home surveillance camera system uses bulkier wires in its power supply to the camera as well as even bulkier wires for the video output from the camera to the monitor or recorder or both. Video output wires are bulkier because of the so called ground shielding.
